Pre-Arrangements

Many people find themselves sadly unprepared to make the necessary arrangements after the loss of a loved one, particularly at an already stressful and confusing time.

So often families are divided on how to make the final tribute to their departed, asking things like “why don’t we know?” or “what would they have wanted?”. One of the most significant and enduring things you can do for your family is to make your final wishes known, or even more so – to make your own pre-arrangements.

Pre-arrangement gives you control over all of your funeral arrangements and relieves your family and loved ones of uncertainty, added emotional trauma and often, financial difficulty.

There are several options you can consider in pre-arranging your own funeral, or that of a loved one, and there are many benefits. You have the opportunity to shop around and make stress free decisions ‘ahead of time’.

Pre-arrangement can be as simple as an informal meeting where we can pre-plan all of your final wishes with the costs to be paid by your estate. We keep a copy on file and your copy should be kept with your important documents, such as insurance policies or wills. A wise choice for many people is to lock-in all of the costs at today’s prices by pre-paying for some or all of the arrangements. This is possible because your pre-payments are held in trust and accrue interest to totally guarantee no cost increases.

Insurance plans or manageable payment plans are available and we are happy to provide you with all of the information you need to find a plan to that is just right for you. It should also be remembered that circumstances do change, and you always have the flexibility to change your pre-arrangement, or move it to another funeral home along with all accrued interest on any pre- payments.

Please remember: Over time things often change. If you or someone you love has made pre-arrangements at a funeral home whose ownership or directors have changed, please understand that pre-arrangements can easily be transferred from one funeral home to another. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. A 10% discount would be given back to you with any pre-arrangement transfer.
