William "Billy" Bourbon Obituary

William A. Bourbon, age 59 was called home to be with the Lord on January 10, 2024 from his residence in East Boston, Massachusetts.

Billy was born on February 22, 1964 to William R. Bourbon and Charlene A. Bourbon of North Berwick, Maine. Billy was the second of 7 children. He graduated from Noble High School class of 1982 where he was an honor student. Billy attended Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute (SMVTI) in South Portland, Maine as a Culinary Arts student. He combined his educational experiences and his charismatic personality to have asuccessful career in both the restaurant and hospitality businesses located in the greater Boston area.

Billy enjoyed cooking, reading his Bible, long walks with his dog “Lucas”, family gatherings, and everything about being outdoors enjoying the distinct weather changes experienced “Only” in New England. He was a passionate New England sports fan with a particular interest in the New England Patriots. The Bourbon family is extremely  grateful for the unconditional friendship that Diane Ingemi provided to Billy over the past 10 years.

Billy was predeceased by his father William “Bill” Bourbon, his sister Kelly Bourbon and his longtime companion and beloved dog “Lucas”.

Billy is survived by his mother Charlene Bourbon, sisters Cheryl Bourbon-Merecki (John), Kathy Bourbon, brothers Anthony “Tony” Bourbon (Maryellen), Casey Bourbon (Kim), Ryan Bourbon (Kristen), nieces Abby, Taylor, Adelyn, Norah, nephews Christopher, Gavin, Connor 2 grandnieces and many lifelong Friends.

There are no services at the current time, but a graveside service is being planned for the spring where Billy’s final resting place will be next to his beloved sister Kelly in the Evergreen Cemetery in Berwick, Maine.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Billy’s name to the “Ryan Home Project” located in North Berwick, Maine (Checks made out to “Ryan Home Project”). Donations can be sent to the MSAD #60 Central Office, P.O. Box 819, North Berwick, Maine 03906
