Russell Chase

Russell J. Chase, age 81, passed away on September 29th at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

He is survived by his brother Carl Chase, Jr. of Lexington, South Carolina. He was pre-deceased by his father Carl, mother Ethel Mary O’Neil, and his sister Carol.

Russell was from an Army family and resided in Virginia, California, Louisiana, Panama, Canal Zone and Yokohama, Japan. Most of his adult life he lived in Massachusetts. He resided in the Don Orione Nursing Facility in East Boston since 2015. Russell was a kind person who never met a stranger. Last rites were administered by Father Elias and he received loving care from the Medical Staff headed by Dr. Lindsay Dow at Massachusetts General Hospital.

A private ceremony was conducted at Ruggiero Family Memorial Home in East Boston.
