Whitten, Roy E., of Revere, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

Beloved husband of 70 years to Virginia (Smith) Whitten.

Devoted father of Warren Whitten and wife Anne Marie of Everett, James "Jimmy" Whitten and wife Cheryl of Revere, Nancy Gallien and husband Raymond of Nashua, NH, Julie Lilley of Revere, Mary St. Onge and husband Louis of Colebrook, NH, Michael Whitten and wife Claire of Rockport, Christopher Whitten and late wife Michele of Waterville, ME, Darlene Palmer and husband Richard of Epson, NH, Elaine Nickerson of Lynn, Jessica "Jessie" Whitten of Lynn, and the late Virginia Margaret Whitten.

Dear brother of Doris Baker, Donald Whitten, Kenneth Whitten, and the late Catherine Bowman, Joseph Whitten and Albert Whitten.

Cherished grandfather of 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In accordance with the Whitten family's wishes, all services are private on Monday, August 28, 2023.
