Phyllis was born on July 10, 1925. She was raised in Dorchester, MA, by her loving parents and surrounded by her 7 siblings. She was the oldest of the family and helped her mother raise her younger siblings. Later in life, she met the love of her life Lawrence, who she married in 1947. They were married 55 1/2 years  before Lawrence passed away in 2002. Together, Phyllis and Lawrence built a life together which included their four children. They loved to go dancing on Saturday nights together, it became their weekly tradition. Phyllis was a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph - St. Lazarus Church for many years, attending Saturday afternoon mass every week. She was a part of the St. Joseph- St. Lazarus Senior Center. All who knew Phyllis knew her hair was always styled and done no matter what. Every Friday she went and got her hair done, even after she was no longer able to take herself, her son Robert would take her to make sure it looked perfect as always. She loved sitting at home with her crossword puzzles with the Red Sox on in the background. She loved indulging in her favorite foods, especially lobster rolls and Chinese food. She loved the holidays when everyone was together, enjoying the food and the company. She and her husband are now reunited in heaven, ballroom dancing and embracing each other again.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
