Patricia L. (Nerpouni) Sullivan of East Boston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2024. She was 70 years old.
Beloved wife of the late Donald (Sully), Patti is survived by her daughters, Jody Yeskey (Ben), Dawn Cronin (Paul), and April Blake.
Proud ‘Nana’ to Josh, PJ, Dean, Michael, Joey, Will, and Tom. Loving sister and sister-in-law to the late Margaret (Peggy) Shellmer, Michael Smith (Linda), Joe Sgro (Michelle), Maria Flaherty, Tony Sgro (Noreen), Phyllis DeZenzo, Sandra Sullivan, and Mary Chrisom. Cherished ‘Auntie’ to her many nieces and nephews.
Born January 23, 1954, Patti grew up in Cambridge, MA before moving to Rockville, CT when she was 13. She made her way back to Massachusetts in her early 20s and met Sully while working at KLH. The two married in 1981 and were together 38 years when Sully passed in Dec 2014. He was the love of her life.
Incredibly hardworking, Patti spent 32 years at Boston Water and Sewer Commission and 25 years at Home Depot before retiring from both.
Patti loved to shop and never passed up a good deal. You could often find her browsing the aisles of TJMaxx/HomeGoods and the Christmas Tree Shop when she got off work at Home Depot.
When not working or shopping, Patti enjoyed spending time with friends and family, soaking up the sun at the pool in Winthrop or at the beach (her happy place), and watching westerns.
Family and friends will celebrate Patti’s life by gathering Saturday April 20th from 2p-6p at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (Orient Heights) East Boston.
In honor of Patti, and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
