Olga S. (DeRota) Elliott

Elliott, Olga S., of Swampscott, formerly of East Boston and Winthrop, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 96 years of age.

Beloved wife of the late John Walker Elliott Sr.

Loving daughter of the late Ettore and Rachelina (LaPegna) DeRota.

Devoted mother of Carol St. John and husband Laurence of Swampscott, David Elliott and wife Patricia of Beverly, Thomas Elliott and wife Jennifer of Lynnfield, Robert Elliott and wife Rita of East Boston, Wayne Elliott of East Boston,  the late John W. Elliott Jr. and his surviving wife Evelyn of Rockland.

Dear sister of the late Mary Kovacev, Clara Marcucella, Ralph DeRota, Victoria Boniface, and Lydia Spoletti.

Cherished grandmother of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Olga's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Monday, November 27th from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. followed by a funeral Mass at Saint John's the Evangelist ~ Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Winthrop, at 12:00 Noon. Burial services will be private.
