Michael Keith Florentino, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. passed away on February 20, 2024. He was 39 years old. Michael leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to his family.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of nineteen years, Jillian Florentino, and with their three sons who he was a proud father of, Dylan(16), Kaden(13), and Logan(5) Florentino, who were the light of his life.
Born to Thomas and Kimberly (Forrest) Florentino, on January 23, 1985. He was a cherished son, a caring brother to Tommy, Stephen, Ashley, Jayleen, Amanda, and Mikey Florentino. Additionally, he was a loving son-in-law to Charles and Karen Ostler and his brothers-in-law, Sean and Timothy Ostler. He was a devoted grandson of Helen Florentino and leaves behind aunts, uncles, and many nieces, and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Michael's life was one of service and passion. He spent many years coaching little league baseball and soccer for his children, positively impacting the lives of countless children. For 11 years, he dedicated himself to the MBTA before relocating to Texas, where he continued his career in the railroad industry.
Beyond his work, Michael found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved the thrill of jet skiing, the challenge of a round of golf, and the excitement of hockey games. His adventurous spirit and zest for life were infectious, bringing smiles to those around him.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation on Wednesday, February 28, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home and again on Thursday morning, starting at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church.
Michael's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his impact will continue to inspire for years to come.
