Mary Ann Vieira

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mary Ann Vieira of East Boston, who passed away on February 10, 2023. Mary was born in Tauton, MA. Mary would've celebrated her 98th birthday this March. 

Mary was the matriarch of her family. She was a loving, caring daughter and sister. She went on to become a cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She will be missed by all.

Family and friends will honor Mary Ann's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. East Boston, on Saturday, February 25th from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM before leaving in procession to St. Joseph - St. Lazarus Church for a 10 AM memorial mass.

Mary loved to ballroom dance, crochet and shop. She especially loved shopping for new high heels. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Mary's name to St. Jude Children Research Center, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.
