Mary G (Cobb) Goulart

Mary Cobb Tango Goulart, of East Boston passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on April 13, 2023. 

Loving daughter of late Charles Cobb and the late Mary McEachern.

Mother of Maryellen Yianacopolus and husband Keith Yianacopolus of Billerica, the late Anthony ‘Tony Tango” Henry and the late Louis Tango.

Dear sister of Anna Papandrea of East Boston, brothers Charles Cobb and wife Mary of Medford, Ronald Cobb of East Boston, Joseph Fabiano and partner Debra Oliveria of East Boston, and the late James Cobb of New Hampshire.  

Grandmother of Nicole Tango of Malden, Louis Tango Jr. and husband Eric Blais of Londonderry, NH, Michael Tango and wife Danielle of Peabody, Keith Yianacopolus of Lowell, Kristyn Cavallaro and husband Dominic of Middleton,  Sarah Henry of Lunenburg and Joseph DeDominicis of Revere.

Great Grandmother to 11 children and Great Great Grandmother to 2.

Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cherished friends. 

Mary was a beautiful, feisty spirited soul who loved to travel, she particularly loved to cruise.  She found comfort and peace in her faith. 

Mary was a social worker in the long term care unit for the State until she retired, she had a passion for helping people. She deeply Loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and shared many special memories with them. Mary made an impact on many lives. She will be forever missed.

Family and friends will honor Mary's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. East Boston, MA on Saturday, April 15th from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M., followed by a funeral mass at Sacred Heart Church, East Boston at 11:00 A.M.  Services will conclude with Mary being laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
