Louis Joseph Labadini Sr., lifelong resident of East Boston, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2021 at the Chelsea Soldiers Home.
Louis was born in Winthrop on September 21, 1928 to the late Alda (Bertulli) and Ernest Labadini.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Berardi) with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.
Devoted father of Louis J and wife, Barbara of Saugus, Linda and friend, Robert Boudreau, of East Boston, and Leo and wife, Karen, of Braintree.
Predeceased by his loving brother, Ernest.
Cherished grandfather of Katie and husband, Michael, of Tewksbury, Michael of Saugus, Lauren, Elise, and Audrey, all of Braintree.
Treasured great-grandfather of Reagan and Skyler of Tewksbury.
Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Louis's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Monday, December 27th from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M. before leaving in procession to Saint Joseph - Saint Lazarus Church, East Boston, for a funeral Mass celebrating Louis's life at 11:00 A.M. Services will conclude with Louis being laid to rest with his beloved wife, Margaret, at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
Louis served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Louis was a 65 year member of Local 17 of the Sheetmetal Workers International Union. His hobbies included painting and photography.
