Joseph "Sonny" Pescione Obituary

Pescione, Joseph A. "Sonny" of Revere, formerly of East Boston and Everett, passed away on September 15, 2022.

Beloved husband of the late Deborah (Malcom) Pescione.

Devoted father of Charissa Laszczkowski and husband Joseph of Chelsea, Joseph Pescione of Revere, and Mark Cowell of Revere.

Dear brother of Doris DiRuzza and her late husband Jack of East Boston, Phyllis Marcella of Revere and her husband Richard and the late Antonette Dwyer.

Cherished grandfather of Gino Gillis, Mea Lazsczkowski and Adrianna Pescione.

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Joseph's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, East Boston on Saturday, September 24th  from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM before leaving in procession to Saint Joseph- Saint Lazarus Church, East Boston for a 10:00 AM mass celebrating Joseph's life. Services will conclude with Joseph being laid to rest at the Versailles Mausoleum at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Joseph's name to Campus School at Boston College, Campion Hall, 140 Commonwealth Ave, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467.
