Joanne (Macri) Cataldo

Cataldo, Joanne (Macri), of Saugus, passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Devoted mother of Paul Cataldo and wife Crystal, Kathy Cataldo and fiance Gabriel Taylor.

Cherished grandmother of Nikolas, Alex, Julien, baby Joanna Cataldo, and Tyler and Makayla Cataldo.

Dear sister of Carmine Macri and wife Annmarie and Marie Kulcsar.

Beloved daughter of the late Carmine and Louise (Ciampa) Macri.

Former spouse of Paul Cataldo.

Also survived by her loving best friends Leah Sordillo and Cheryl DiPerri.

Family and friends will honor Joanne's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Thursday, April 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. 

For all who knew Joanne, then you know she was one of the strongest women in the world. You can be assured her heart was kind and her bark was loud. You know that Joanne loved her children, grandchildren and her cat's more than anything in this world and that even though she didn't do it perfectly you just knew you could count on her for everything. Joanne was diagnosed with cancer last year and it has been a continuous battle, but in the end, after fighting so hard, she allowed herself to surrender and now she is at peace.
