James "Jimmy" Robert Rosatto

James "Jimmy" Robert Rosatto of Lynnfield formerly of East Boston passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 19th at the age of 75.

Beloved husband of Isabel (Soccorso Egan)

Devoted son of the late John and Marie (Tuttle) Rosatto.

Loving father of Joseph Egan, Stacy Egan VanPutten and Danielle Egan. 

Dear brother of Richard Rosatto and his wife Barbara.

Cherished grandfather of Reis and Savanna Van Putten, Christopher and David Egan, James Patrick "JP" Thiffault.

Adored uncle of Thomas Rosatto, Michelle Rosatto Donovan and Jacquelyn Rosatto Indrisano.

Trusted friend of James "Jimmy" Stella and Renato "Reny" D'Amico. The Egan/Carr's were a wonderful extended family as were the Grava family of Lynnfield.

Jimmy attended Boston English and Wentworth and then started his career in civil engineering. He went on to carving his own path in local real estate. He was an original owner of DaCoopa's Pizza and Subs, Quality Carwash and Jimmy's Fish and Dairy Barn. Above all, he was a loving husband, the best dad and an incredible papa. We can't leave out saying what an amazing son he was to his mom and his aunt Helen.

He spent most of his retirement with his grandchildren and travelling. Jimmy was an avid walker, 5 miles a day. You could find him on Revere Beach. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society to fight for early detection of carcinomas.

Family and friends will honor Jimmy's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home 971 Saratoga St., on Wednesday March 23rd from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. A funeral mass in celebration of Jimmy's life will be held on Thursday March 24th at 11:30AM at Our Lady of Assumption Church 758 Salem St. Lynnfield. Services will conclude with Jimmy being laid to rest at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park.
