Buono, James Angelo, of East Boston passed away on December 17, 2021.

Beloved husband of Rita (LaVertue) Buono.

Loving father of James Buono and his wife Suzane of Melrose, Jared Buono of East Boston, John Marzilli and his wife Kristine of Wilmington and Renee Waters and husband William of Plymouth.

Dear brother of Francine Billet of New York, Rosalind E. Faretra of Winthrop and the late Leopold "Butchy" Buono.

Also survived by 5 loving grandchildren: Cameron, Kai, Lily, Kael and James.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St. (ORIENT HEIGHTS) East Boston on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 4-7 pm and again on Thursday at 10:30 am followed by a funeral procession to St. Joseph-St. Lazarus Church, 59 Ashley St., East Boston for a funeral mass to be celebrated in his honor at 12 noon. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
