George M. Buttiglieri

Buttiglieri, George M., of East Boston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 67 years of age.

Loving son of the late Constantino (Sonny) and Margaret (Burke) Buttiglieri.

Dear brother of Jack and wife Christine of East Boston, Jim and wife Karen of East Boston, Bob and wife Chris of Stoneham, and Tom and wife Carla of Peabody.

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor George's life by gathering at St. Anthony of Padua, Revere, on Friday, April 29th for a funeral Mass celebrating his life at 10:00 A.M. Services will conclude with George being laid to rest with his beloved parents, Constantino and Margaret, at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

In accordance with the Buttiglieri family's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in George's name to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place, W 6th floor, Brookline, MA 02445.

George was a product of one of the greatest youth organizations ever assembled, East Boston Youth Hockey, where he continued his brief career on the ice, playing for Charlestown High School and later on, East Boston High in an outstanding, Division I, Boston City League.
