Francesco Pasquariello, lovingly known as a devoted husband, a cherished father, a doting grandfather, and a proud great-grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 15, 2023, at the age of 96. He was born on March 11, 1927, in Fontanarosa, Avellino, Italy, to proud parents Tommaso and Concetta (Zollo).
Francesco was a man of strong family values, and this was evident in the love and care he showered upon his wife, Margherita (Rosato), and their children Concetta Tranfaglia and husband Osvaldo, Tommaso Pasquariello and wife Nadia, Bianca Pasquariello, Giovanna Pasquariello, and Annamaria Locontro and husband Mario.
His legacy extended further through his beloved grandchildren: Angela Picariello, Margherita Parisi, Tonia Tranfaglia, Daniele D'Ambrosio, Andrea D'Ambrosio, Francesco Pasquariello, Margherita Tirella, Adele Tellier, Gabriela Locontro, and Valentina Locontro. Francesco was also blessed with ten great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Bianca, Stella, Liliana, Lorenzo, Alessandra, Alessia, Gioia, Cristian, and Giulia.
Francesco, predeceased by his siblings Antonio, Bianchina, Vincenzo, Maria, Giovanni, and Umbaldo, leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories and a host of nieces and nephews who admired and loved him dearly.
In 1973, Francesco and his family made the courageous journey from Italy to East Boston, where he established a fulfilling life. He took pride in providing for his family and was a pillar of strength, always offering his unwavering support and guidance.
Francesco found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for hunting, gardening, and winemaking, and he loved spending time outdoors. Above all, he cherished the moments spent with his family, leaving a lasting impression on each and every one of them.
Visiting hours to pay respects and honor Francesco's memory will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga St, East Boston. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 8:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by a procession to Sacred Heart Church in East Boston for a 10:00 AM Mass. Francesco will then be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
Francesco Pasquariello will be deeply missed, but his love, wisdom, and the beautiful memories he created will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
