Eligio Villanueva Hernandez, of East Boston, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

Beloved husband of Filomena Guevara.

Devoted father of Jose Villanueva, Jorge Villanueva, Marta Portillo and husband Herbert, Sandra Umana and husband Vicente, Cristian Villanueva and wife Christina, Nilson Villanueva and wife Anabell, and Lazaro Villanueva.

Cherished grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will honor Eligio's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Saturday, June 4th from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. Eligio will be laid to rest at a later date in his home land, El Salvador.
