Dorothy "Dotty" A. Merchant

Merchant, Dorothy "Dotty," of East Boston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Dear sister of Margaret Cordeau and husband Richard of Lynn, and the late Harold Merchant, Edward Merchant, James Merchant and surviving wife Catherine, and Robert Merchant and surviving wife Elaine.

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Dotty's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Tuesday, December 28th, from 8:30 to 10:30 A.M. before leaving in procession to the Most Holy Redeemer Parish, East Boston, for a funeral Mass celebrating Dotty's life at 11:00 A.M. Dotty will be laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dorothy's name to Most Holy Redeemer Parish, Rectory, 65 London Street, Boston, MA 02128 ; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to a charity of your choice.
