Dorothy Geraldine (Flammia) Arrigo

Arrigo (Flammia), Dorothy Geraldine of Winthrop formerly of the North End, passed away on October 23, 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Conio Arrigo.

Devoted mother of Michael Arrigo and his wife Laura of Boxford, Ted Arrigo of Dennisport, MA, Catherine Smaila and her husband Sergio of Salisbury, Marie Hamilton and her hubsand Philip of Winthrop.

Dear sister of the late Michael, Frank, Frances, Angelica, Anna and Eva.

Adored grandmother of Jenna Greenleaf and her husband Matthew, Jonathan Smaila and his wife Kristine, Alexandra Arrigo, Philip Hamilton and fiancé Kayla, Michael Arrigo, Christopher Arrigo and wife Makenna, Robert Hamilton and wife Jennifer, Sergio Smaila, Mark Hamilton and fiancé Natale.

Cherished great grandmother of Lincoln Greenleaf, Samuel Greenleaf, Carson Arrigo, Caden Arrigo and Philip Hamilton III.

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will honor Dorothy's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, East Boston, on Thursday, October 27th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM before leaving in procession to St. John the Evangelist Church for a 11:30 AM mass celebrating Dorothy's life. Services will conclude with Dorothy being laid to rest at Winthrop Cemetery- Belle Isle Section. 

Flowers are appreciated or memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
