Daniel J. MacDonald

Daniel J. MacDonald Jr., a talented, loyal and kind hearted musician from Chelsea, MA passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2022 at the young age of 21.

Daniel was born December 12, 2000 to his loving parents Daniel J. MacDonald Sr and Christine A. Reid.

Daniel was a loving younger brother to Kevin and Cody DiGaetano, and caring and supportive older brother to Cameron and Christina MacDonald.

Daniel also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephew, sister in laws as well as his loving partner Gabriela Cadena.

Daniel was the cherished grandson of Joseph Reid and the late Mary H. Reid, George MacDonald Sr, and Lorraine MacDonald.

Daniel leaves behind a large loving family full of plenty of aunts, uncles, and cousins; all of which will continue to cherish his memory and keep his music alive forever.

Daniel was a devoted music artist who enjoyed spending his time in the studio when he was not with his beloved friends and family. Daniel was a high school graduate from Ashland High School, class of 2019. Daniel loved and was extremely well knowledged in history, and his future aspiration was to become a history teacher. Daniel enjoyed playing baseball and even helped to coach his younger sisters softball team.

Daniel was like a ray of sunshine and brightened any and every room that he stepped foot in to. He will be deeply cherished and missed by his friends, family, and all who were blessed enough to know him.

Family and friends will honor Daniel's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, (Orient Heights) East Boston, on Sunday, August 7th from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. Committal services will be private.
